Wandering sheath

Why hit the road with Wandering swordsman by your side?

HE PROTECC...

Protection outside

-

Durable leather keeps your blade safe from harmful environment - weather, accidental hits to doorframes, fingerprints of those overly curious strangers... Shield your sword with a material that lasts!

The leather is cowhide, smoothed on the outside.

Protection inside

-

Wool lining inside of the sheath helps to keep water away from the blade, thanks to its hydrophobic nature (yes, that is a good phobia in this case).

Protection inside of the inside

-

The lanolin inside of the wool gently oils the blade and helps in our never-ending battle against rust. The scratchy surface of the wool cleans the blade with every sheating and drawing. Though it does not do ALL the work, folks...
(Sheaths are for transporting - not storage)

Protection from dangers afar

-

Reflexive straps will warn any incoming nightly vehicle, that it better steer away from you.

HE ATTACC...

Ever read those disses that carrying a sword on the back makes it impossible to draw quickly? Well, what if I told you: those just did not put as much thought into the matter as I did?

Though much harder to craft, I can offer a scabbard version that combines full protection of the blade while allowing the wielder to draw directly from the back and surprise those unsuspecting casuals!

But most importantly...
he delivers likely the most practical sheath on the market.

Adjust to the wearer

-

The openings on the back of the scabbard and adjustable length of the straps allow for adjusting the position of the sword for various types of figure.

Adjust to the sword

-

Not a monoswordy type? No problem! Get a version with adjustable length!  101-104 cm range covers most of the common feder blades - but you can set your own preferred range, up to 104-110cm.

Peek at the fitting details here.

Adjust to the wearing preference

-

Wanna roam as a monster slayer, with a sword across your back? That was the original idea, my fellow romantic!

Adjust to the wearing preference

-

Always in a hurry? Throw the strap over the shoulder and you are good to go with the sword by your hip. Do not worry: with WanS, you don´t need to wrap yourselves in additional historical belts. Rock that hand on a hilt pose easily!

Liking backpacks? Carry it as one...

Put it down without concern

-

Leather on the tip is one really bad idea, if you want the sheath to serve you and not the other way around. A solid tip allows you to put your sword down without damaging the leather. My sheath is finished with a tip from coated plastic, though if an interest will stir, costier metallic option will appear.

Secure the sword inside

-

Leather belt and silvery pin secure the sword inside of the sheath and makes your walk legal in various countries.

More positions available - find your own preferred hole!

Lightweight

-

The weight of average sheath (fixed one, for 101 cm long blade, without straps) is just around 350 g.

Modern and unique design

-

Unhindered by historical accuracy, the design offers modern look, that prioritises modern needs, while it remains relatively quick to create and thus affordable to buy.

Get WanS, love it forever!

Huh, what was that? You don´t even have a sword?
Oh no... Let´s fix that! Get over here to SIGI Forge and get one for yourself!
